What the app uses
TrackFrame only uses the files you choose: the video, imported from Photos or Files, and the GPX track. For each project it keeps a copy in the app's private storage on your iPhone, along with your overlay, sync and crop settings.
A GPX track contains the positions, times and altitudes of your activity. They are read to compute the statistics shown on the video and never leave your device.
What we don't do
- We don't upload videos, tracks or projects to any server, ours or anyone else's.
- We don't use analytics, tracking or advertising tools.
- We don't create accounts or ask for your email or other personal data.
- We don't sell or share data, because we don't collect any.
Permissions
Photos (add only): used to save the videos you export to Photos. The app doesn't read your library: you choose the video to import with the system picker.
Files: when you import from Files, iOS only grants access to the file you select.
Sharing
When you use Share, the exported video is handed to the app you pick (Messages, Instagram, etc.) under that app's privacy terms.
Deleting your data
Delete a project from the list to remove its video, track and settings. Deleting the app removes everything.
Children
The app doesn't collect personal data from anyone, children included.
